Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 heading to consoles, 3DS

A sequel to Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures will launch for Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, Bandai Namco announced today.

Like its predecessor, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 takes inspiration from the animated show of the same name. The game introduces a new storyline featuring characters Pac, Spiral and Cylindria in their quest to defend PacWorld from Lord Betrayus and his army. Players will also have the chance to explore the ocean floor and space.

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 will be available in Fall 2014. Its accompanying show begins airing this year and will extend into 2015. For a look at the game, watch the trailer below.

A price for Ghostly Adventures 2 has not been announced. The first game, which launched last year, was available for $39.99.
