BlizzCon, the two night gathering celebrating all things WarCraft, StarCraft and Diablo, will be held in Anaheim Nov. 7 and Nov. 8, Blizzard Entertainment announced today.

Tickets will go on sale for $199 on Wednesday, May 7 at 7 p.m. PT and again on Saturday, May 10 at 10 a.m. PT. Additionally, tickets for a pre-BlizzCon dinner benefiting Children's Hospital of Orange County, Calif. will go on sale May 14 at 7 p.m. PDT. They are $750 each and include BlizzCon admission.

For those unable to attend, Blizzard is offering a "Virtual Ticket" that provides "comprehensive live coverage of the event via a multichannel Internet stream." Additional details on the Virtual Ticket, including its price and programming information, will be announced later.

Ticketing is handled through Eventbrite at this site.

BlizzCon also announced that this year it will resume hosting the StarCraft 2 World Championship Series. The top 16 players in the world will compete in a single elimination, best-of-five bracket, with the winner of a best-of-seven championship match taking home $100,000.
