Sony Online Entertainment's All Access pass has been delayed once again and is now expected to launch April 29, community relations manager Collette "Dexella" Murphy wrote on the company's forums.
The All Access plan offers subscriptions to the company's entire catalogue for only $14.99 per month; the new plan is a replacement for SOE's previous pass, available for $19.99.
"In an effort to ensure that the transition to the new All Access membership plan is as seamless as possible, we are going to be taking a little more time to test," Murphy wrote. "So, we will be pushing the launch date of All Access to Tuesday, April 29th. Because of the portfolio-wide nature of this plan, this may prevent us from doing any individual game updates in EverQuest, EverQuest 2, Planetside 2 and DC Universe Online. These updates will resume normally after the All Access launch. We appreciate your patience and you'll agree that our new membership offering is worth the wait."
The pass was originally slated for launch April 2, but was delayed to April 6 because the team had "lots of stuff to finish." It currently includes DC Universe Online, PlanetSide 2, Dragon's Prophet, EverQuest and EverQuest 2, as well as Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, which will be shut down July 31. Sony Online plans to add EverQuest Next and EverQuest Next Landmark.
SOE president John Smedley detailed the model, which was still a consideration at the time, in January.
