Pac-Man Monsters is free on iOS and Android

Pac-Man Monsters is free to play today on iOS and Android devices, Gree announced.

The game, which was developed in Gree's Japan studio in collaboration with Bandai Namco, throws players into a puzzle grid where the aim is to eat pellets to erase panels. Pac-Man Monsters will be updated regularly with new events and content, according to Gree.

The title also includes 100 quests and over 100 monsters that can be used to strengthen the Pac-Man team. Teams can also be customized by upgrading and evolving monsters to defeat powerful bosses, while players can send additional heart pieces to one another in-game which can be used to unleash a special attack.
