Fract OSC is a game about discovery, and I'm not 100 percent sure that's going to make for good video.
Don't get me wrong: It's a gorgeous and utterly fascinating game, but it's one entirely built around learning what the hell it is you're doing. Even after you've firmly grasped your motivation in Fract's enormous, nearly prompt-free world, you'll find puzzles you've never encountered and mechanics you've never mastered around every turn. That happens a few times in the video above — they're moments that are so satisfying to master, and so maddening to watch someone else master.
In this Overview, Chris Plante tries to help me get through a few of Fract OSC's puzzles while humiliating myself as little as is possible. He doesn't do ... like, a great job, but we do create some pretty chunky beats together.
