You Don't Know Jack developer bringing two comedy trivia games to Amazon Fire TV

Indie games studio Jackbox Games announced today both You Don't Know Jack Party and Fibbage as launch titles for Amazon's new Fire TV.

Comedy trivia game Fibbage pits up to eight players against one another in an attempt to fool their friends with white lies. Players use their mobile phones or tablets as controllers to answer seven questions per game, including oddball facts and questions about celebrity tweets. Additional DLC is also planned for the title, to be released in the near future. The game follows the original release of You Don't Know Jack Party last fall, which continues the trivia franchise legacy as a party game.

The Chicago-based developer, previously known as Jellyvision Games, will bring both titles to other platforms based on supportive technology and demand.

More than 100 games are currently available on Fire TV, including Minecraft: Pocket Edition, Asphalt 8: Airborne and TerrariaSev Zero, Amazon Game Studios' tower defense shooter hybrid, that was "built from the ground up for Fire TV," is also available for the set-top box.

Amazon unveiled the $99 Fire TV set-top box and a dedicated $39.99 wireless Bluetooth game controller at a recent event. Available to order now through Amazon, the platform offers paid titles from $0.99 and free-to-play games.
