Magical Battle Festa, an arena-based fighting game from Fly System, is now available in a regular and fully voiced version on indie-centric digital distribution platform Playism, the company announced today.
Playism already features titles such as La-Mulana, Shadowrun Returns and PixelJunk Eden. Magical Battle Festa takes place in the "near future" after humans discover a new renewable source of energy, Magicore.
"Using 'cauldrons' to refine the element, humans successfully create magic, and mages are born," the game's description reads. "All is not well, though. As magic becomes more widespread, new creatures dubbed 'spectres' begin to appear. In hopes of training mages to fight spectres and form an army of Holy Mages, TEOS, the ruling magic agency, hosts a high stakes tournament: The Magical Battle Festa."
The game supports up to four players and includes special moves and combos for each character. It's available in two versions. The regular edition, which does not feature voice acting, is available for $14.99. The fully voiced edition, available for $21.99, comes with Japanese voice acting from talent "all over the anime industry."
Magical Battle Festa is only available on Windows PC. For more on the game, watch the trailer above.
