Indie developer Fenix Fire is bringing its in-development arcade adventure game Source to PAX East this weekened, the studio announced.

Fenix Fire will share new details on the title, which is slated to launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC via Steam. The game is set in an alternate dimension drenched in bioluminescence that is being slowly consumed by darkness. Players control a firefly-like entity with the power to give and receive energy from all living things, guiding the creature on a journey to save the darkening world.

Source includes puzzle and combat challenges and players will learn more about — and heal — the world through gathering, growing and re-distributing energy. Check out the trailer above for a look at the game in action.

Fenix Fire is composed of veterans from Blizzard Entertainment, High Voltage Software and Midway Games and has created a handful of other indie titles including mobile title Roboto and upcoming mobile and Ouya game Smash Derby.

Source will be playable in the Indie Megabooth. Polygon will be in attendance at PAX providing coverage of the expo.
