Stealth Inc. 2, the upcoming sequel to Curve Studios' 2D infiltration game, will launch exclusively on Wii U this year, CVG reports.
"There isn't much competition on Nintendo's store, so we thought that commercially it's a really good opportunity for us," managing director Jason Perkins told the publication.
"Nintendo has sold a few million Wii Us too, so the audience is there. We want to see what the market is like. We want to test it."
The self-published game marks a change in the studio's typical platforms of choice. Curve previously ported a number of games to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, including Thomas was Alone and Proteus.
The studio's original release, known when it launched as Stealth Bastard Deluxe, released on Windows PC, PS3 and PS Vita. Curve announced plans for a release to mobile devices and PS4 earlier this year.
