Wolfenstein: The New Order publisher Bethesda Softworks revealed the mid-20th-century shooter's system requirements today, including Windows PC specifications and console storage space.
The PC system requirements aren't split up into minimum and recommended specs; instead, said Bethesda on its blog, "The system requirements are based on the game being a next-gen experience running at 60 [frames per second]. These are the system requirements to deliver the PC game as it was intended to be experienced."
Here's the gaming rig that the company recommends:
- 64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8
- Intel Core i7 or equivalent AMD
- 4 GB System RAM
- 50 GB free hard drive space
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 460, AMD Radeon HD 6850
On PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, The New Order will require 47 GB of hard drive space. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions also require at least 8 GB of free space. The Xbox 360 version of the game comes on four discs, and the first disc must be installed. The PlayStation 3 version will be available on the PlayStation Store as well as on disc; the digital version requires at least 17 GB of hard drive space.

Correction: On PS4 and Xbox One, Wolfenstein: The New Order needs 47 GB of free space because — like all games on those consoles — it must be fully installed to the hard drive. A Bethesda representative confirmed to Polygon that the Bethblog post mistakenly referred to an 8 GB minimum for PS4 and Xbox One. We've edited the post to reflect this.
