M.C. Escher-inspired The Bridge comes to Mac, Linux May 16

2D puzzler The Bridge will launch on Mac and Linux along with SteamOS and Steam Machine support May 16, two-man studio the Quantum Astrophysicists Guild announced.

The physics-based puzzler first launched for Windows PC February last year. Available for $9.99 from Steam, Amazon and the developer, those who already own the game will receive the title on the additional platforms for free. It also supports cross-platform cloud saving, allowing players to resume play across different platforms. The Bridge hit consoles last November with its release on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

In The Bridge, players are tasked with guiding the amnesiac protagonist through hand-drawn M.C. Escher-inspired environments. It features 30 puzzle rooms across five chapters, along with a bonus set of 24 mirror versions for those who beat the original levels. The game also offers a rewind mechanic, giving players a second chance at solving difficult puzzles.
