The first major update for mobile endless runner Rayman Fiesta Run brings with it new levels and power-ups as well as an additional challenge — Nightmare Mode — developer Ubisoft announced today.
Rayman Fiesta Run, a mobile spin-off of the popular Rayman platformer series, features the titular hero dashing through levels at breakneck pace, collecting as many glowing Lums as he can. Today's update includes 16 new levels, an additional higher-level boss and three new characters to play as. Players also get two new gadget power-ups to help them get more speedily through levels: one that attracts Lums and allows players to speed by without touching them directly, and one that will respawn players immediately after death.
The update also includes Nightmare Mode, which tasks players with making perfect runs through 36 new levels packed with spikes, enemies and other death traps. If you die in Nightmare Mode, you have to restart from the beginning.
Rayman Fiesta Run is available for $2.99 through iTunes App Store, Google Play and Amazon App Store, with today's update available for free. Check out the trailer above to see the new update in action.
