Ultra Street Fighter 4 will launch on June 3 through PlayStation Network and June 4 through Xbox Live, Capcom announced today.
Super Street Fighter 4 and Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition owners will be able to upgrade to Ultra Street Fighter 4 for $14.99. Physical versions of Ultra for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will be available on Aug. 5 for $39.99. A $29.99 downloadable edition bundling Super Street Fighter 4 with the Ultra update for PC will launch Aug. 8.
Players purchasing retail bundles for PS3 and Xbox 360 will receive all previously released costumes for the game. Additionally, pre-orders for Ultra Street Fighter 4 will get the 2014 Challengers Costume pack, which includes costume skins for all five new characters — Jungle Elena, Medieval Hugo, Pirate Poison, Wizard Rolento and Gladiator Decapre. Ultra Street Fighter 4, in addition to adding five new characters to the now 44-strong roster, features six new battle environments, new game modes and rebalanced gameplay. The game was announced last year during the 2013 Evo fighting games tournament and will allow players to share game footage directly to YouTube.
