Blizzard unveiled its detailed retrospective of the Diablo franchise via battle.net this week, with the introduction of The Story of Diablo to its Game Guide available digitally through its official website.
The Story of Diablo features a re-telling of all major events in the Diablo franchise up to Diablo 3's Reaper of Souls expansion. Check out the new spoiler-riddled game guide in full here.
This digital release marks the two year anniversary of the launch of Diablo 3. It coincides with an in-game event offering a community buff on Windows PC and Mac servers, doubling the drop rates of Legendary items while giving players twice as many Rift Fragments. This event runs until May 22.
The Ultimate Evil Edition of Diablo 3 — a console-exclusive package that includes Reaper of Souls — will be released Aug. 19 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
