Cosmic DJ launches via Steam Early Access

Austin-based indie studio Gl33k's "pick up and play musical experience," Cosmic DJ, is now available for Mac and Windows PC via Steam Early Access, publisher Devolver Digital announced today.

In Cosmic DJ, players tap out or align their beats using instruments and a grid sequencer; tracks are then available to export and share. The game includes both a quick play and story mode.

"Set among the stars, you will strive to become the legendary Cosmic DJ through six musical adventures as you're tasked with repairing the all-important 'Jamtennas' and bring harmony back to the galaxy," the game's description reads. "Only you, the ‘Cosmic DJ of Legend’ can bring musical harmony back to the galaxy."

The alpha is currently available at a discounted price of $5.39 — 10 percent off its usual $5.99 price tag. For more on Cosmic DJ, check out the announcement trailer below.
