British satellite broadcaster Sky today announced a streaming video app for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
Subscribers to Sky can download entertainment streaming service Sky Go, which offers TV content such as sports and movies, including English Premiership soccer. Rivals like the BBC have already launched their own local entertainment apps.
"Sky Go joining both PlayStation platforms further enhances our credentials as the ultimate gaming and entertainment package," said SCE UK VP and MD Fergal Gara.
"More and more consumers are demanding easy access to a greater choice of high-quality entertainment over internet-connected devices," added Sky's TV brand director Luke Bradley-Jones. "Sky is committed to helping customers access our great content, whenever and wherever they want."
