The launch trailer for Don't Starve: Reign of Giants, the new expansion for Klei Entertainment's survival game, showcases the game's new biomes, characters and monsters.
Reign of Giants is available now as an expansion to the original game and as a standalone. It expands upon the world of Don't Starve with new biomes and adds new scientific innovations, creatures and challenges. It also introduces a full year of seasons with torrential spring rains to blistering summers, a new save slot and giants. Two new playable characters are a stage actress called Wigfrid and a young boy by the name of Webber, "who lives inside the spider who tried to eat him long ago."
Reign of Giants can be purchased for $4.99 from Steam and Klei's Humble Store widget. The developer released Don't Starve on Windows PC and Mac via its own website and on Steam last year, followed by a PlayStation 4 launch in January.
