Side-scrolling, shooting-filled platformer Super Time Force launches for Xbox 360 and Xbox One May 14, Capy Games announced today.
Super Time Force follows a time-traveling military organization as they perish, time travel and use their dimension-bending dopplegangers to advance. In a trailer released along with the game's date, a narrator instructs viewers on how to play: run, jump, shoot and die, die, die. Using the game's rewind mechanics, players can turn each death into a chance to regroup and seek revenge.
Late last year, the developer delayed the game from its 2013 release in favor of a simultaneous launch for Xbox One and Xbox 360. During GDC 2014, Capy Games president Nathan Vella told Polygon the team was shooting for a release this summer.
Capy Games is currently working on another project as well, a "roguelike-like" called Below. The atmospheric dungeon crawler was playable for the first time at PAX East 2014. For more on the game, check out our hands-on impressions.
