Halo skins and items available in Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition on May 28

The Halo Mash-up Pack will be available tomorrow, May 28 for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, bringing with it character skins and items from 343 Industries' popular military science fiction franchise, according to a post on Xbox Wire.

The Mash-up Pack was created by 4J Studios, the developer behind the console versions of Minecraft. The pack includes a Halo-themed texture set, menu and UI options, as well as Halo items for crafting. Players can also dress their characters in one of 40 character skins — including Arbiter, Cortana, Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson — and set up a handful of pre-made Halo worlds featuring fan favorites like Blackout, Blood Gulch, Guardian, Sandtrap and Silent Cartographer.

Additionally, the pack adds 31 tracks from games across the Halo series, bringing the games' sound to Minecraft's blocky world.

The Halo Mash-up Pack, announced earlier this month, will launch through the Xbox Games Store for $3.99.

Last week, original Minecraft developer Mojang announced that the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Xbox One versions of Minecraft will launch this August. Players of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions both have upgrade options available.
