XCOM: Enemy Unknown coming to Linux this summer

Firaxis Games' turn-based tactical role-playing game XCOM: Enemy Unknown and all its downloadable content launches for Linux this summer, Feral Interactive announced today.

Feral Interactive is responsible for the Mac version as well; the upcoming edition of the game is the first title to be developed and published for Linux by the company. It is unclear if the game's DLC, including stand-alone expansion Enemy Within, will be available in a bundle like the Mac's Elite Edition.

Enemy Within's Linux version, which will run on Ubuntu 14.04 and Valve's SteamOS, will be a SteamPlay title. You can view its trailer above.

Pricing for the game has not yet been announced. XCOM: Enemy Unknown is available for Mac and Windows PC via Steam for $29.99. The game is also available for Android, iOS, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
