Armored Warfare's Shattered World trailer is a lesson in destruction with a tank

The latest trailer for Obsidian Entertainment and My.com's free-to-play massively multiplayer online game, Armored Warfare, offers a look at the various weather conditions, landscapes and destructible environments.

The Shattered World trailer demonstrates how players can destroy structures, such as fences and buildings, within the environments with cannon fire or ramming tanks straight through them. The tactical military video game offers players co-op campaigns and team-based matches as private military contractors.

The CryEngine-powered game features two levels of upgrading and progression through military vehicles and a personal military base, where players can train crews and upgrade and conduct maintenance on vehicles. Players will have access to a variety of warmachines, such as armored general purpose combat vehicles, modern main battle tanks and long-range high-powered artillery.

Registrations to participate in Armored Warfare's upcoming closed beta are open via the official website. Unveiled during the 14th annual Game Developers Choice Awards in March, the title is slated to roll out for Windows PC at an unannounced date.
