In celebration of Insomniac Games' 20th anniversary, the developer will release the Ratchet & Clank Trilogy for PlayStation Vita this July, community lead James Stevenson announced via the PlayStation Blog Europe.
Also known as the Ratchet & Clank Collection, the compilation includes Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, which were released between 2002 and 2004. The trilogy was released for PlayStation 3 in 2012 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Ratchet & Clank franchise.
"Many of you had the chance to replay the classic Ratchet games and earn trophies for them, and many more played them for the first time," Stevenson wrote. "Since the HD trilogy was released, one of the biggest requests from many of you was for a version of theTrilogy to come to PlayStation Vita. We've heard you loud and clear, and thanks to Sony and Mass Media, the Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy will be something you can play on the go."
The trilogy is expected to launch July 2 in Europe for €29.99 and July 9 in Australia; we've reached out about a North American date and will update accordingly. The game will be available to download and in stores.
