This Russian survival horror puts you in the shoes of a man afraid of the dark

Games Jam entry Stazis, a Russian indie survival horror developed for a recent European Game Jam based around the theme of phobias, puts players in the shoes of a character with a severe fear of the dark.

The marathon game development event GamesJamGamm!, which Stazis was a part of, was put together by Russia's Kitchen Riots, to motivate indie developers to create a work that is playable in browsers, while also restricting them to the concept of phobias.

In Stazis, the player is ejected from their stasis pod earlier than expected, and as a result must survive in a dark ship all alone. The protagonist suffers from a phobia of the dark, while other ejected passengers appear to have gone insane. Developed in Unity, you can play the game right here.
