A video released this weekend for Black Desert shows the enormous scope of player-versus-player, open-world combat in South Korean developer Pearl Abyss' massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
This is what Black Desert’s open-world PvP looks like
According to MMO Culture, a Korean Black Desert user captured the nine minutes of footage above, which pits five players against a gang of 60 in environments that span the outskirts of castles, medieval stone bridges, forests and more.
The MMORPG hasn’t been announced for a Western release, but a series of videos from the developers and enthusiastic fans have shown the in-development game’s progress. Check out videos of Black Desert’s incredibly detailed character creation system and a bird’s eye tour of its environments to see more.
