Battletoads, Banjo-Kazooie and Viva Piñata come to Kinect Sports Rivals

The latest group of downloadable content for Rare's Kinect Sports Rivals consists of Rare-themed challenges for franchises such as Banjo-Kazooie and Perfect Dark, publisher Microsoft Studios announced today.

Microsoft released five Challenge Packs earlier this week, each one centered around a classic series developed by Rare: Banjo-Kazooie, Battletoads, Blast Corps, Perfect Dark and Viva Piñata. Also available for purchase are three DLC packs containing accessories for characters: the Sunglasses Pack, Funglasses Pack and Super Salon Pack. All three can be picked up together in the Super Style Bundle.

Recent updates to Kinect Sports Rivals include 24 new stories for each of the game's three factions, as well as team-based backgrounds for the photo gallery and greatest moments videos. And players now have the opportunity to compete against the team captains in all six sports.
