The handheld incarnation of Borderlands 2, Gearbox Software's first-person shooter, will launch on the PS Vita in Europe on May 28, according to the official PlayStation Europe Twitter account.
In development at Divekick developer Iron Galaxy Studios, Borderlands 2 will arrive in North America this spring bundled with the redesigned slim PlayStation Vita for $199. Sony announced the port last August at Gamescom, which you can see running on the PS Vita in footage released earlier this year.
Borderlands 2 was originally released in September 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Mac and Windows PC. For more on the game, be sure to read Polygon's review.
