Excalibur Publishing announced Water Park Tycoon today, a water park management simulator in the vein of similar Tycoon titles in which players must construct a palace of pools and slides to woo hordes of customers.
Water Park Tycoon will launch on May 23 for Windows PC. The game is being developed by German simulator-focused company Astragon, the studio behind Emergency Ambulance Simulator and Street Cleaning Simulator.
Players will begin with an uncultivated patch of land on which they can assemble their park any way they want. Parks will need attractions — slides, pools that can be made in any shape with the Pool Creator tool and other entertainment areas — as well as places for attendees to eat, change and shower off the chlorine.
Management systems include hiring lifeguards and cleaners, adding another layer to the park's monetary resources for players to keep an eye on. Players can monitor how well their park in liked by clicking on each individual visitor, who will give candid feedback on how they are enjoying the park.
