Retro Game Crunch hits Steam May 19

Retro Game Crunch, a compilation of seven NES classic-inspired games, will launch via Steam May 19 after being Greenlit by the community, developer Rusty Moyher announced today.

The compilation, which features platformers, puzzle adventure games and shoot-'em-ups, was released in March for Mac and Windows PC. It includes Super Clew Land, End of Line, GAIAttack, Paradox Lost, Wub-Wub Wescue, Brains & Hearts and Shūten.

Moyher developed the game along with Shaun Inman and Matt Grimm. Retro Game Crunch got its start during a Ludum Dare game jam, where the trio created Super Clew Land. After deciding to push the game jam title even further, the developers launched a Kickstarter campaign in 2012; it raised more than $66,000 in funding.
