One of Tropico 5's new additions to the banana republic dictator series is multiplayer. A new trailer out today offers some clues as to how running an island empire will work, alongside other would-be totalitarians.
The trailer, from publisher Kalypso and developer Haemimont Games, suggests that players team up and share resources, or simply go all-out to destroy neighbors using various sneaky and bullying methods.
Haemimont, which is planning to release the Windows PC game on May 23, is also planning a Twitch live-streaming session on Thursday 15th of May (at 2pm. ET). A Mac and Xbox 360 version of the game is planned for the summer, with PlayStation 4 following in the fall.
