Spintires is, oddly enough, one of the most calming games I’ve played this year. Which is surprising, considering how infuriating it is.
Spintires - Overview video

Sure, in those moments where your truck and its cargo folds in on itself like a dying star, sending you careening irretrievably onto your side, it’s a genuine, grade-A jerk. The rest of the time, though, it’s just slow, methodical movement through beautiful, albeit muddy environments. It’s like fifteen minutes of meditative off-roading, and then two seconds of “Oh, come on, that bush was totally small enough for me to drive over!”
In today's Overview, Chris Plante and I tackle the unpaved paths of the great outdoors, and learn a little bit about ourselves in the process. The thing I learned? I am not very good at Spintires.
