Orcs Must Die! Unchained closed beta kicks off June 27

The closed beta for free-to-play, class-based, card collecting multiplayer online battle arena, Orcs Must Die! Unchained, will launch in closed beta June 27, developer Robot Entertainment announced today.

In addition to a new map, the beta will add three "never-before-seen" heroes to its current lineup of 10. Beta players also gain access to the game's deck editing system, which allows them to sort out a combination of traps, minions and more.

Registration is available via the game's official website. According to Robot, new heroes will be cycled out each weekend until early July.

You can watch the trailer above to see the game in action. Unchained entered its alpha phase in April; those interested were able to purchase a "Founder's Pack" to receive instant access to the early version. Players who previously participated in the alpha will gain access to the beta as well.
