The Oberkommando West is one of two $12.99 packs being offered in Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front Armies, a forthcoming DLC release from publisher Sega.
Profiled in one of two trailers released today (above), the German army is "battle hardened and newly equipped ... a resurgent and very dangerous foe," according to developer Relic. Oberkommando West's mission is to defend Germany from U.S. attack, in a simulation of the Battle of Hurtgen Forest during World War II.
The other video (below) focuses on U.S. forces, led by General Dwight D. Eisenhower. Fatigued following the rapid advance from Germany, they must overcome a tough enemy and uncompromising terrain. Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front Armies arrives on Windows PC on June 24. The two packs can be bought together for $20.
