Eliss Infinity headed to Android this week

Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.

Eliss Infinity, the expanded version of the multitouch puzzle game Eliss that Steph Thirion brought to iOS in February, is coming to Android on Thursday, Thirion said on his blog yesterday. This will be the first time any Eliss game is playable on that platform.

In addition, a "big update with dozens of new features and improvements," will come in the form of a version 1.1 patch update for the iOS version. The changes include smoothing out the difficulty curve, positional damage sound, and a better interface. Thirion said the Android version will have all of the features and improvements of the iOS 1.1 version.

Finally, those who enjoy the Eliss soundtrack will be able to purchase it in two digital EPs on Thursday as well. The first album will feature music from the original 2009 game, with the second featuring the additions brought by the 2014 game.
