Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2 headed to iOS July 2

Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2 will arrive on iOS July 2, publisher 2K Games announced today.

The strategy game, which is in development exclusively for mobile platforms, will be compatible with iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. It's also in development and "coming soon" to Android devices. Civilization Revolution 2 will include returning historical figures like Abraham Lincoln, Gandhi and Napoleon as well as new characters like Winston Churchill and John F. Kennedy.

The original Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, which was released first on consoles, arrived on iOS in 2009. It's available now for $2.99 in the iOS App Store.
