Hellraid: The Escape will launch on advanced iOS devices on July 10, according to developer Shortbreak Studios.
The first-person puzzle adventure is set in the same universe as Techland's Hellraid, a fantasy combat game that was originally a mod for zombie-shooter Dead Island (see video below). Shortbreak said today that Hellraid: The Escape will only be available for iOS devices that are as new as iPad 2, iPhone 4S, and iPod Touch 5th Generation.
"We've put a lot of effort into making the game a real treat for your eyes," offered a developer voice-over to today's promotional trailer. "We used the full potential of the Unreal Engine to achieve visual quality previously known only on PCs and consoles."
