Nintendo devs use Tomodachi Life to sing about upcoming games

With Nintendo's latest Tomodachi Life trailer, the company achieves Inception levels of promotion by using Miis modeled after developers to sing about upcoming games.

Tomodachi Life is Nintendo's "quirky life simulator" featuring player-created or imported Miis. Miis can hang out with friends, fall in love or even perform karaoke songs of the player's creation. In the video above, Nintendo devs such as Shigeru Miyamoto and Tsubasa Sakaguchi appear in Mii form to sing about Mario Maker, Splatoon, Yoshi's Woolly World and more.

Nintendo announced Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Mario Maker, Splatoon, Yoshi's Woolly World and a new Star Fox for Wii U at E3 2014. You can check out all the Nintendo news from E3 2014 in our StoryStream.

Tomodachi Life launched for Nintendo 3DS June 6. Read our review for more on the game.
