Rhythm-based platformer Inside My Radio coming to PC, consoles

Samit Sarkar (he/him) is Polygon’s deputy managing editor. He has more than 15 years of experience covering video games, movies, television, and technology.

Inside My Radio, a rhythm-based platformer, is the next game from French indie developer Seaven Studio, the company announced this week.

Seaven Studio, which previously released the platformer Ethan: Meteor Hunter, is working with France-based TurboDindon, the original developer of Inside My Radio. The game originated in the Ludum Dare 23 game jam, where it placed first in the Overall and Audio categories and second in Coolness and Innovation.

In Inside My Radio, you play as a small green creature inside a broken boombox. You make your way through musical levels in which actions like jumping must be performed to the beat of a song, with the goal of bringing the device back to life. The developers plan for each stage to feature a different track.

Inside My Radio is in development on computers and consoles, and has no release window beyond "when it's done." For more, check out the debut trailer above.
