Gamers will find out much more about Gauntlet's reboot at E3, and Warner Bros. today released this trailer for the expo to whet their appetites. It introduces the weapon and equipment customization the dungeon crawler will offer.
Longtime Gauntlet fans will also recognize some classic arcade sounds are used — that's the key pickup chime at 0:39 — and see how enemy generators work and are destroyed within the updated art style and camera angle. It's not as apparent in the video, but the dungeons will all be procedurally generated.
Gauntlet, developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, is coming to PC via Steam on Sept. 3. For more, see Polygon's preview from Game Developers Conference 2014.
