Square Enix shared a new trailer for music-based role-playing game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call today showing off the game's new content, including a new Versus Mode allowing players to test their skills against each other.
Curtain Call, the sequel to 2012's Theatrhythm Final Fantasy on Nintendo 3DS, includes 221 songs from various games across the Final Fantasy franchise as well as more than 60 playable characters. In the new Versus Mode, demonstrated above, players can compete locally or online through the Nintendo Network to rack up high scores in the games tap-and-swipe rhythm challenges.
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call will launch in North America on Sept. 16 for 3DS; the game is already available in Japan. Square Enix is also offering a Collector's Edition through its website as well as Limited Edition for pre-orders through Amazon.
