Enemy Front launch trailer travels through World War II Europe

Enemy Front publisher Bandai Namco Games America released a launch trailer for the first-person shooter today, showing off the various European locales in which players will be helping a resistance effort against the Axis powers in World War II.

Today happens to be the 70th anniversary of D-Day, June 6, 1944, the beginning of the Allied forces' amphibious assault against the Germans on the beaches of Normandy, France.

Enemy Front focuses on Robert Hawkins, a war reporter who ends up fighting alongside members of the resistance in France, Germany, Norway and Poland. By focusing on those locations, the game will feature lesser-known World War II battles.

For more, check out our preview, in which CI Games explains how it tried to make Enemy Front a somewhat more tactical shooter than typical games in the genre. Enemy Front will be released next Tuesday, June 10, on PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Xbox 360.
