Rollers of the Realm, Phantom Compass' pinball role-playing game, will launch for PlayStation 4, PS Vita and PC this holiday, publisher Atlus announced today.
The game will be available as a download-only title. Pinball tables are set in "dynamic locations" that include many different areas, secrets and objectives. Tables have AI-controlled enemies as pinball flippers that attack and do damage, while pinballs are playable characters with different skills and abilities. Each of the six characters have their own backstories and voice-acting.
"The story opens up through an epic six chapters, where players will have to master the strengths and weaknesses of each character ball," the announcement reads.
Players will unlock new items, enchantments and more as they progress.
Rollers of the Realm was a finalist in Indiecade 2013 and a "Best in Play" winner at GDC Play 2014. For more on the game, check out our hands-on impressions.
