The title will be set in Paris on the eve of the French Revolution, it was announced today at the Xbox E3 press conference. For the first time in an Assassin's Creed game, players will be able to form their own brotherhood and play with three friends over Xbox Live.

Pre-orders for the game are now open. A Season Pass is available from the Xbox Live. A Collector's Edition consists of the official soundtrack, collector's box, music box, artbook and a 16-inch statue of protagonist Arno Dorian.
