White PS4 will be available as a standalone in Europe after Destiny bundle launch

A limited edition, white PlayStation 4 console will launch later this year in Europe, Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida confirmed to French site GameOne.

This will be a standalone version of the Glacier White PS4 which will initially only be available as part of a Destiny bundle release on Sept. 9 in North America.

The PS4 Destiny bundle, which was first announced at this year's E3, includes a Glacier White 500 GB console, a matching vertical stand, an Urban Camouflage DualShock 4 controller, Destiny and a 30-day voucher to PlayStation Plus, for $449. The white PS4 will be sold separately in Europe for €399, while the vertical stand will cost €19. Two colored controllers, including one in Glacier White and one in Urban Camouflage, will cost $59 in the U.S. and €59 in Europe.
