Ubisoft is bringing an Assassin's Creed parkour course and more to Comic-Con

Publisher Ubisoft is bringing Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, The Crew and Just Dance 2015 to this year's Comic-Con in San Diego, thanks to a handful of panels and playable demos. Perhaps the most interesting hands-on opportunity will be what Ubisoft is calling the Assassin's Creed Experience, a real-world parkour course that aims to give fans a taste of the game's free-running action.

The Assassin's Creed Experience is described by Ubisoft as "a massive parkour obstacle course" that includes rolling, vaulting and a 25-foot "leap of faith" drop. Fans who complete the course can snag an exclusive t-shirt, and a playable demo of Assassin's Creed Unity will be on hand. Attendees can also get a free shave from a professional barber, thanks to a partnership with Shick. The Assassin's Creed Experience obstacle course will be located at the Martin Luther King Jr. Promenade during San Diego Comic-Con.

Assassin's Creed Unity will also be the subject of a panel session at Comic-Con. Comedian and regular Ubisoft press conference emcee Aisha Tyler will host the panel, which will dive into the next game in the franchise. The panel will also debut an animated short based on Unity from Rob Zombie and The Walking Dead artist Tony Moore. It takes place on Friday, July 25 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm.

Ubisoft will also host a panel for Far Cry 4, which will go behind the scenes of the development of the game's fictional setting of Kyrat. The Far Cry 4 panel happens Thursday, July 24 from 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm.

Racing game The Crew will be playable at Ubisoft's Comic-Con booth and Just Dance 2015 will be playable at the Nintendo Gaming Lounge at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina.
