QuakeCon's Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) room is kept fairly dark for a reason — the collective light produced by the modded PCs in attendance rival that of a small star. The practice of outfitting PCs with ostentatious lights and displays is a time-honored one at QuakeCon, which hosts a number of modding competitions throughout the weekend.
