The latest trailer for the first episode of Dreamfall Chapters, the $1.5 million Kickstarter-funded sequel to the 2006 adventure game Dreamfall, shows off its three parallel worlds and the characters that thread throughout the story.
In-game footage begins at the 30 second mark and offers a look at the game's first episode, Book One: Reborn, which is slated to launch in Autumn. The developers announced last week that the story-driven adventure title will be released in an episodic format in order to deliver backers something.
Five episodes are planned for release on Windows PC, Mac and Linux. Kickstarter and PayPal backers will receive all five free, while consumers can purchase a season pass on Steam, GOG and the Humble Store.
