Curve Digital will release its atmospheric puzzle-platformer, The Swapper, for Wii U "later this year," the developer announced via Twitter.
The Swapper takes place in an abandoned space station; players clone themselves to solve puzzles and progress. Kotaku reports that the controls have been re-configured for the GamePad, and that the Wii U version will include a touch-only mode. According to a follow-up tweet to the original announcement from Curve, the Wii U edition will be "much closer" to the PlayStation 4 version than the PlayStation 3 version in terms of visuals.
The Swapper is currently available for Linux, Mac and Windows PC. The PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita editions of the game are expected to hit Aug. 5.
