By all accounts, upcoming 2016 film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice didn't get a lot of facetime at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. But we did get our first look at director Zack Snyder's take on Wonder Woman, as played by Gal Gadot.
The model and actress, perhaps best known for her role in The Fast and the Furious movies, tweeted over the weekend that she was ready, and asked readers if they were too.

The new outfit includes muted colors (no red, white, blue and gold here), knee-high boots, brown bracers and tiara, and magical sword, and perhaps a glimpse of the signature Lasso of Truth on her right hip. It also bears a striking resemblance to another sort of amazon: television's Xena: Warrior Princess.
How much of a resemblance? Enough of one to draw a response from Xena actress Lucy Lawless:
#Xena meets @Spartacus? At least she's not a 'feminist'!"@girlgamer: What do you think of new #WonderWoman look?? pic.twitter.com/Okzvj11y7z"
