The latest trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor delves deeper into the powers of Celebrimbor, the ghostly Wraith accompanying Talion on his quest for vengeance against the Dark Lord Sauron.
Talion's already pretty effective in combat because of his Ranger training, but the added mind-control powers of the Wraith make him all that more dangerous. Through Celebrimbor, Talion's skills are augmented, and with his new powers he can dominate and intimidate the Uruks of Sauron's Army. In this way, Talion (and Celebrimbor) can infiltrate the Dark Lord's forces as they slowly turn his own followers against him.
Last week, developer Monolith Productions revealed the identity of Talion's Wraith companion as Celebrimbor, the forger of the Rings of Power and a personal enemy from Sauron's path. His presence in Talion's story is a big deal — read why.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will launch on Sept. 30 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
