At E3 2014, Pac-Man was announced as a fighter in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. reboot for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and now series creator Masahiro Sakurai says he will be getting his own stage on the 3DS edition of the game.
Smash Bros.’ 3DS edition gets a Pac-Man themed stage

Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.
The stage features the ghosts Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde, as well, and they are capable of harming all of the combatants. If a player consumes 100 dots in the course of his jumping and moving around the playing area, power pellets appear. Power pellets will, of course, turn the ghosts vulnerable — but only to the player who consumes one, Sakurai says.
"This is one of the unique game features only possible in the 3DS version," Sakurai wrote on Miiverse.
Super Smash Bros. launches Oct. 3 on 3DS, and arrives for Wii U this holiday. For more, see Smash Bros.’ Pac-Man trailer below.
